For each of our 3 California road trips, we have spent time towards the end of our trip in San Diego, and been hosted by the family of one of Patty's closest friends that she has known since high school. They also have three kids, and we've replicated the same picture of the kids we took on our first trip.

On past visits, we have taken it easy, swam in their pool, and just hung out. This trip, we we still had time to relax and play in the pool, but we also went to the beach, Sea World, and the U.S.S. Midway Museum.
