We Made It!

We arrived at our friends' house in San Ramon around 5pm local time. Looking forward to spending more time with them and their boys, and I'm guessing Ben welcomes the break from all that driving! Although today's drive was pretty short, it was more taxing as it involved winding roads and hills, which required more heightened alertness and skilled maneuvering, all after 4 days of driving. We also hit some traffic in Sacramento, but we later on took advantage of the carpool lane. He did great. We also finished the second book in the Hero's Guide series. For now, we welcome some sleep, and the fact that tomorrow is Saturday and we don't have to drive anywhere! We are thankful to be able to take a trip like this.
