My phone kept crashing today while I tried posting to the blog, and evidently many of the photos I tried posting didn't go through. So apparently I was making random statements with no photo context. :) I think it's all updated now, but you probably realize that not many of our posts are terribly exciting! But at least the shout out to our cousins will make more sense now!
The kids surprised me with thoughtful birthday cards this morning, and we had a relatively uneventful drive today. We were traveling through (around) mountains, so there were more winding roads, but Ben has been an amazing driver as usual. I get tired just sitting as a passenger! We started listening to the second book in the Hero's Guide book series (The Hero's Guide to Storming the Castle), as we finished the first one yesterday, I think. It is narrated by Bronson Pinchot (Balki from Perfect Strangers), and has been entertaining. The kids have enjoyed reading the books previously, so they are also enjoying the audiobooks.
We had a nice Italian dinner and were pretty well stuffed from it. But then we managed to still make room for popsicles/ice cream bars, as Ben posted about! We will visit a museum tomorrow morning before heading out. Have a good night!
